Can I make up a group lesson I have missed in the term

​

Yes. Players are encouraged to make all lessons during the term, however where this is not possible players are able to make up a maximum of 2 missed lessons during the enrolled term subject to availability. All make-up lessons must be booked online at www.ActiveTennisCoaching.com.au/book-online in the make-up lessons section. Players don't need to let us know if you can't attend a lesson you are booked in for.

What happens if it is raining on the day of my lesson

​

Your lesson may still be on! If a lesson needs to be cancelled due to wet weather making the courts too wet for play then you will receive an email advising of a cancellation, this will be advised with as much notice as possible. Notification of washed out lessons are also posted on our news page at www.ActiveTennisCoaching.com.au/news. You are entitled to a refund, credit or make-up lesson for all rained out lessons.

 

What is the alternative plan for rained out lessons

 

Where lessons are cancelled due to wet weather you can enjoy a gym session or group fitness class free of charge at Fitness First Canberra City. Simply turn up and advise the reception staff that you are enrolled with Active Tennis Coaching. You will need to take a towel on each visit and fill in a waiver to use the gym on your first visit. Players are still entitled to a credit, make-up lesson or a refund for any rain out tennis lessons.

What equipment do I need to bring to my lesson

​

Players should wear comfortable clothing, shoes you can run around in and bring a water bottle. Players are welcome to borrow a racket free or charge from us at any of your lessons. We supply everything else.

When do group tennis lesson terms run

​

All tennis coaching lesson terms are based on A.C.T Public School Terms which are generally 10 weeks duration. Private lessons run year round unless advised otherwise. Tennis lessons on public holidays are always on per regular scheduling.

 

Can I join once the term has commenced

​

Yes. If a class is showing as available to book online at www.ActiveTennisCoaching.com.au/book-online then there is a spot available in that class. All lesson fees shown online are pro-rata based on the number of weeks remaining in the term. Eg, play for 6 weeks, pay for 6 weeks!

Where do I park

​

Free car parking is available at both Braddon and Ainslie Tennis Clubs for the duration of each tennis lesson.
