I've played tennis my whole life, growing up in a tennis family with tennis coaching grandparents. I grew up and trained in Cooma, NSW, representing my region numerous times and then played college tennis in Kentucky, USA, for 3.5 years on a tennis scholarship. I’ve been the Canberra 18 and Under Residents singles and doubles champion, and most recently was the winner of the open mixed doubles at the UQ Open and the winner of the Australian Uni Games team event.
My tennis coaching career began when I was 15, and then at 18 I attained my Junior Development Coach qualification and a year later attained my Club Coach qualification, both through Tennis Australia.
My passion for tennis coaching led me to pursue degrees in Psychology and Fitness and Sport Management at university, and after returning to Australia I completed an Honours and Masters degree in Psychology.
I am passionate about improving the lives of others through tennis coaching, focusing on improving tennis skills but also developing high performance skills that can translate to better performance in life. It is extremely satisfying seeing players improve whether they are novice juniors, advanced adults, or anyone in between.
